Lights in the Night Sky

planets in the night sky

Whenever I see a bright light in the night sky I can't resist taking a picture, even though I know the photo is likely to show just a blur of light. The collage shows pictures of Mars, Venus and a few unidentified celestial lights.

They all look pretty similar, I can only tell which is which by checking the date on the photos.

The big picture is an unknown. The three medium pictures are Mars. The two small pictures on the left are an unknown and Mars. The two small pictures at the bottom are Venus.

Venus is easy to spot this week, so I'm hoping to get some more shots :-)

Nice. I see Venus most nights, but it's always a delight. Could the big picture be that of the moon, hee :D

Wow - those are great photos. You may feel they are only blurs but they are so much more than I could manage!
