Wrangle Show

prize winning turnips at wrangle show

Over the past few years we've been regularly visiting Wrangle Show. The village show has been running since the 19th century. I wonder what the Victorians would make of today's attractions!

Despite the stunt show, acrobats and RAF flyover my favourite feature is always the fruit and veg competition. I keep promising myself I'll enter one year :-)

That is a fabulous photo of the old bomber! I just love old planes.

Have you got a green thumb? I don't. I'm useless and can't even make my lawn grow.

I like things like this. Our state fairs are similar here.

You should definitely enter! What do you grow?

I haven't really got a green thumb but I still keep trying to grow things. I planted a few fruit bushes that never have any fruit and I'm attempting to grow beetroot :-)

I had no idea that there is a place called Wrangle. I name like that must offer some good photo opportunities.
