The entrance to Castle Rising leads staight to the impressive main staircase. The door to the left leads to the great hall. Up heads to a room in the tower :-)

oooo, that is quite unique with the stairs leading straight from the entrance. I love it. I like the name too: "Castle Rising". imust visit Norfolk one day.
I always like castle shots as they often remind me of that old TV show "Knightmare" :)
These are just awesome pictures! It's fun and educational at the same time to view something like this. The castle's age is apparent, it's neat to see how people operated long ago before our time.
