A helter skelter is a tower surrounded by a spiral slide and always used to be my favourite ride at the fair :-)

Wouldn't it be great to own one of those? I never knew what a helter skelter was. That term is only used in connection with a murder in my country. I like it much better as the definition of a slide like this one.

Oh, what a great photo! Helter skelters were my favourite ride too but I refused to call them that for some reason. I wouldn't want to go on there in that weather though!
