After walking round the pinnacle searching for an easier path I found a well worn track to the top :-) The view down to the hazel grove is quite spectacular.
Wow! I love that first photo. It reminds me of magic and wonder! You've definitely made me want to go to the Isle of Skye one day. Can I go when it is sunny though??
There is a place called Fairy Glen in Johannesburg. It is awful.
Absolutely fantastic. I immediately thought of a poem I learnt as a child -
Up the airy mountain, Down the rushy glen, We daren't go a-hunting For fear of little men; Wee folk, good folk, Trooping all together; Green jacket, red cap, And white owl's feather!

What a lovely track! :) The view was worth it, it's great.
How gorgeous. So much of the landscape in the US seems new and harsh compared to the soft rolling hills in the UK.
It is so intriguing...looks like a fake movie set or something...amazingly enchanted!
Knew you'd make it :p
And yes, the view is apectacular (even more so 'in the flesh' I expect).
I would love to visit this area!
What a lesson! When the way seems impossible, just search for a different route!
I love your work. It is always so beautiful and this one is especially so!! Thanks for hiking up and sharing it with us!
Jackie:-)
Wow, it looks magical. You're so lucky to have such a landscape to look at everyday.
The earthtones in these shots are magnificent.
