Fairy Glen

path up the rocky pinnacle, Fairy Glen

After walking round the pinnacle searching for an easier path I found a well worn track to the top :-) The view down to the hazel grove is quite spectacular.

Fairy Glen, the view from the top

How gorgeous. So much of the landscape in the US seems new and harsh compared to the soft rolling hills in the UK.

What a lesson! When the way seems impossible, just search for a different route!

Wow, it looks magical. You're so lucky to have such a landscape to look at everyday.

Wow! I love that first photo. It reminds me of magic and wonder! You've definitely made me want to go to the Isle of Skye one day. Can I go when it is sunny though??

There is a place called Fairy Glen in Johannesburg. It is awful.

Absolutely fantastic. I immediately thought of a poem I learnt as a child -

Up the airy mountain,
Down the rushy glen,
We daren't go a-hunting
For fear of little men;
Wee folk, good folk,
Trooping all together;
Green jacket, red cap,
And white owl's feather!
