East Gill Force

East Gill Force, Keld, Yorkshire Dales

East Gill Force is close to the Yorkshire village of Keld. The waterfall drops 4.5m shortly before East Gill meets the River Swale. We visited the falls yesterday after spotting them by chance on the map :-)

Gorgeous! I love waterfalls and try to go to all of them near us at least once a year.

Gorgeous waterfall! I used to hunt/hike to waterfalls here.

There is something about looking at running water that puts me at peace, and a waterfall adds all the more to that.

The ebb and flow of life expressed by water. This shot is superb, to say the least.

I have a picture in my head, of me sitting with my feet in the water, watching the waterfall as I drink some chilled bottles of lager....Wish I Was There!

That looks like a nice place! The kind of places I love to sit and relax and do nothing. :)
