The High Altar at Ripon Cathedral
We stopped at Ripon on the way home from camping at Bishop Monkton. The plan was to find a cafe for breakfast, but I couldn't resist spending a few minutes exploring the cathedral. :-)

Very pretty! My family pointedly remarked to me on our holidays that I spend far too much time photographing the outside of churches and should visit inside them sometimes. You photos convey the peacefulness inside and I can see why people would say that.
