Buttercup Meadow

buttercup meadow

It's scenes like this meadow in Gloucestershire that make the buttercup one of my favourite wild flowers :-)

I love seeing fields of black-eyed susans as much as you love the buttercups, but buttercups will probably be my second favorite field!

Hi,
In reply to your waterfall comment on my '100 things' blog post, before I Anglicised it, the original said 'Niagara Falls', so I was really meaning something majorly big in world terms, rather than e.g. Hardraw Force (beautiful though it is). :)
May be a little while before I can put it right. Would love to see Angel Falls!

How sweet, I would just love to go frolic in this meadow.

These are just so pleasant, such a happy meadow. My allergies could not take it, but hey, that's what Claritin is for, lol

Beautiful shot. We get them here, but not in such large groups.

What a gorgeous photo! Buttercups were one of the things I missed most while living in South Africa. They are certainly my favourite wild flower. What I like most about this photo is the purple plants too - do you know what kind they are?

Emm, not sure about the purple flowers. I tried to find them in a book but there are several similar plants :-(
