Window...

window in the ruins

It's a shame to see this former stately home now neglected, a crumbling ruin left to decay... :-( I wonder if anyone recognises the tower?

I don't recognise it but I can see that it must really have been beautiful once.

Hi John,

Nice shot of the tower through the broken window. Too bad it's being neglected. I hope they don't tear it down though - that's what happens here way to often and it is pretty sad seeing some of the beautiful Art Nouveau buildings go.

p.s. thanks for your comment on my blog. Some people must be so bored that they search my entire blog for some (supposedly) illegal link, which in fact was just a silly cat award I got from a fellow EC blogger. Shame.

No clue about the tower, but that's a really intriguing picture.

its a beautiful architecture, it deserves to be renovated and/or preserve.

Wow, I'm always intrigued by architecture such as this. I haven't a clue about the tower. Where is this taken?

Amazing photograph. Good capture. I love how you used something broken to create a beautiful image.
