A while ago I asked if you could identify the macro shots I'd just taken. I kept the guesses in the moderation queue to give everyone a fair chance.
It's a 27C4001 EPROM. Congratulations to Dave, Funky Town and RyHeAnNe who all mentioned computer chips. However Mike went one better by suggesting it might be an EPROM :-)

Digital camera sensor? Nah, that would probably not have a line in the middle...!
Is it that bit on a portable phone that connects back to the charger?
The two panels look a bit like part of a solar light, but the extra techie bits make me think of something more mains electrical.

Haha, no idea but looks like chip or another term for the thing you can find in the back of a TV or radio.,
